Individual Learning Journal

You may have heard about the learning journal which a setting will have to keep to record your child’s learning and development.

The learning journal is to enable settings make professional judgements about your child’s achievements and the next steps in learning for your child. This is done by observing and making notes when necessary and also by assessments with regard to the EYFS and the areas which are set out for learning. The journal may also include photos and comments from parents and others involved in your child’s care.
